Job roles in the magazine industry

Graphic Designer

They can work on websites, magazines, newspapers, posters, books, games, products, etc.
They help make the brand stand out from the rest.
They make lots of different ideas and the boss/bosses picks the best one or tells him/her to change them.
Their work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.

Photographer

They take pictures for commercial, artistic, fashion, editorial, etc.
They can make the viewer feel things if they want to or they could show/give them a message.
They can be self-employed or via a company.

Magazines Feature Editor

This job makes sure that the newspaper or magazine is full of useful and the right topics.
They can be employed for more then just magazine. They could be used for the Internet, trade magazines, in house magazines, etc.
They can be freelancers or under a company.They don’t have to know everything in the magazine is right, but if it’s specialises in one topic, then they should do to make their work better.

    A good start to your research - try to include more detail in terms of what these job roles involves - and try to include some primary research too. This additional analysis will really benefit your work overall.
